About You
We are seeking an Inside Sales Manager to join our team. The position will be based in Seymour, IN, and the individual will work in close collaboration with the Inside Sales Team, who are responsible for dealer and customer sales. This role’s primary focus is building strong relationships within the organization and distribution model across the country, ensuring timely and accurate quotes, order processing, project management, and exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be a process-driven, highly motivated, and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry and distribution channels. Expectations
- This position reports to the Executive Vice President.
- Promote Company Core Values while leading by example.
- Manage the Inside Sales team to support Outside Sales and customers.
- Set sales goals and quotas for the Inside Sales team.
- Provide training and coaching to Inside Sales personnel.
- Work hand-in-hand with the Engineering Department and Production Scheduling to meet delivery deadlines.
- Monitor performance and take corrective action as needed.
- Overnight (possible weekend) travel obligations for trade shows and special customer events are expected (estimated 15–20 days per calendar year).
Highlights of the Position
Team Leadership/Management
- Recruitment & Hiring: Identifying, attracting, and hiring talented inside sales representatives.
- Onboarding & Training: Developing comprehensive training programs to equip new hires with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Performance Management: Setting clear performance expectations, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
- Coaching & Development: Coaching team members to improve their skills and achieve their goals.
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Sales Strategy Development: Creating effective sales strategies for the Inside Sales team to align with yearly sales goals and objectives.
- Quota Setting: Setting realistic and achievable sales quotas for individual team members.
Sales Process Optimization
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluating and improving the sales process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- CRM Utilization: Ensuring the team effectively utilizes “Epicor” CRM tools to manage leads, opportunities, and customer relationships.
- Sales Methodology: Implementing proven sales methodologies.
Sales Coaching and Motivation
- One-on-One Coaching: Providing personalized coaching and guidance to help team members overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
- Team Meetings: Conducting regular team meetings to share best practices, address issues, and motivate the team.
- Incentive Programs: Designing and implementing incentive programs to motivate and reward top performers.
- Quoting and Project Managing Orders: Overseeing the quoting and project management processes.
Sales Performance Analysis
- KPI Tracking: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team and individual performance (e.g., quotes and quote versions).
- Data Analysis: Analyzing sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Reporting: Preparing regular sales reports for management, highlighting key metrics and insights.
By effectively managing this team, implementing robust sales strategies, and continuously improving the sales process, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Experience
- Inside Sales/Customer Service: 5 years (Preferred).
- Experience leading a team.
Position Details
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
Pay: $75,000.00–$85,000.00 per year (exempt). Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications.
