SG2000 Wire Partitions

As of February 1, 2016, our redesigned BeastWire Mesh Guarding replaces the SG2000 former brand line. Like many competitive products still marketed as industry leaders, the SG2000 line lacked sensible design.
SG2000 Design
Standard bolt hole patterns in posts failed to line-up with holes in panels when re-oriented, adding time and money. The posts designed specifically to in-line, corners, and door type, often resulting in misplacement, field drilling, and non-secure hardware for connections. Likewise, swing gates were designed swing specific (in or out, hinged left or right) and for lock or padlock setups.
BeastWire Design
The ingenuity of BeastWire Mesh Partitions replaced this inflexibility. The panels are still fabricated from 1-1/4 inch by 1-1/4 inch by 1/8-inch-thick angle frame. However, the hole pattern now follows a universal layout for a variety of uses. This new pattern avoids paying for or waiting on replacement panels or drilling new holes in the field.
BeastWire also fits in a wide variety of welded, woven, expanded, and sheet metal infill panels. These panels allow us to match existing materials like our 10-gauge, 1-1/2 inch diamond woven mesh standard in the SG2000 line.
BeastWire Mesh Partitions continue to use 14-gauge, 2-inch by 2-inch tube posts. But, the universal hole pattern allows each post to work in any location outside of some special lock requirements.
BeastWire Mesh universal posts have only 2-inch maintenance sweep space below the panels. Whereas, SG2000 employs a 3-1/4 inch sweep space. When building on existing SG2000 material, the difference is hardly noticeable. However, now standard universal posts are used in high-end security applications such as DEA cages, vaults, and bonded warehouse cages.
SG2000 Hinged Gates
The new BeastWire design replaces the SG2000 hinged gates which allow technicians to reverse standard doors in the field. Doors can now swing in or out in the event an unforeseen obstruction or limited aisleway exists.
BeastWire doors can also be switched from a standard mortise cylinder lock to a padlock setup without replacing the entire door. This switch not only saves on material and installation cost but also minimizes freight. We can send new materials by a more affordable parcel service versus sending an entire door via a less-than-truckload carrier.

2180 Welded Wire Partitions

On July 1, 2016, we discontinued another former brand, the 2180 welded wire partition line, from production. Originally launched to meet a demand for a design common outside the United States, we constructed 2180 welded wire mesh partitions from a 1-inch square tube frame with 6-gauge wire resistance welded in a rectangular mesh pattern. Since its debut in the 1990s, the welded wire mesh partition market changed dramatically resulting in design limitations with the 2180 brand.
BeastWire Design
The launch of the BeastWire Mesh Partitions before the discontinuation of the 2180 brand provided customers with a broader range of product heights, expanded gate and lock offerings, a more competitively priced and readily available product. While the panel-to-panel construction of the 2180 line differs from the intermediate posts utilized in BeastWire they share two common components: welded wire mesh appearance and ease of installation using all straight carriage bolt hardware on the secure side of the system.

RailGuard
RailGuard Mezzanine Safety Systems
RailGuard mezzanine safety systems used custom fabricated components utilizing the base design of an SG2000 partition panel. The BeastWire Mesh Guarding brand incorporates the SG2000 panel with many improvements. With many similar design components, this new system utilizes standard BeastWire Mesh Guarding components making it more readily available and cost-effective.
